How to use the auction site!
You must register with KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM in order to use any of the services provided by this website.
Please notice that the following instructions do not apply to
buy it now items!!!!!
The buyer has until the deadline to place an offer on the motorcycle of
their choice. Once the deadline has passed the buyer with the highest bid
will be notified immediately via email. The buyer will have until 8:00
AM EST the next day, to guarantee their bid with a $500(five hundred dollar)
deposit or 15% of the offer price, whichever is greatest. Deposits
will only be accepted by Pay-Pal, Western Union, Money Gram, Cashiers Check or
Money Order. Credit cards will not be accepted! The
stated deadline will be received via email with the high bid notification.
Once the deposit has been received, KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM will attempt to
acquire the motorcycle(s) from the insurance company. If KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM
is successful the buyer will have 3 business days to complete the payment.
If KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM is not successful in its attempt to purchase the
motorcycle, the deposit (at the request of the buyer) will be refunded, or
held for a future purchase.
Buyers with the highest bid will be notified of the acquisition results the next business day by 6 PM EST. In the event that KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM has to wait for an approval from the insurance company on a bid, the buyer will be notified as soon as a response is received. This can take up to 5 business days.
KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM will be happy to send email updates of upcoming sales. Inventory changes weekly. If we don’t have it today, we might have it next week, so check our site regularly. If you would like to receive email notification, please register at KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM
Motorcycles listed at auction on KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM are not available for inspection, unless otherwise stated. These motorcycles are located at various insurance sites across the country.
The buyer’s security deposit is refundable only if the item is not purchased at auction by KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM. If the motorcycle is purchased by KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM and the buyer forfeits the sale, the security deposit will not be refunded. All fees associated with the wire transfer process (incoming and outgoing) will be the responsibility of the buyer.
PAYMENT:
The buyer has 3 business days from the date of sale confirmation to make payment in full. In the event that payment is not made on time, the buyer will be charged $75.00(seventy five dollars) per day, per motorcycle late fee.
Payments will be accepted via Paypal, money order, cashiers check, Western Union or Money Gram. If the buyer chooses to use Paypal for payment, the Paypal fees will be added to the final price of the motorcycle.
KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM adds 5% or $300.00 to the final selling price of each item sold..
KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM can arrange shipping. You may arrange for your own shipping. PLEASE NOTE: The salvage yard will not crate or secure your vehicle on the transport. That is the responsibility of the shipping company. Please make sure your carrier is aware of this when obtaining shipping quotes. Motorcycles can be picked up Monday – Friday, hours or operation may vary by yard, this information will be given upon sale of the vehicle. Motorcycles can be picked up at the Nicholasville location on the weekend by appointment only.
KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM charges a $20.00 (twenty dollar) loading fee if a forklift is required.
VEHICLE PICKUP:
Vehicles must be picked up within 5 working days (auction day plus 4 working days). If not picked up within specified timeframe, KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM will pick up the vehicle and take it back to corporate in Nicholasville KY. Storage fees ($25.00 per day) plus the cost of shipping will be charged. The bidder will be required to pay these additional charges before the vehicle will be released. The vehicle will be held until all fees are equal to the bidders account balance (i.e. deposit plus any payments that have been made). Upon which the vehicle will be the property of KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM. Vehicles can only be picked up during yard hours. KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM urges successful bidders to pick up the vehicles immediately after the sale to ensure their protection. Vehicles remaining at the insurance facility after the sale will be at the sole risk of the Buyer. KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM or the insurance company will not recognize any claim for theft or damage, in whole or in part, after the vehicle has been awarded.
KYCYCLESALVAGE.COM will make every effort to process titles as quickly as possible. There are many variables that affect the timeliness of this process. In most cases, the title can be processed within a couple of weeks. However, this is not a guarantee.
